Worry

The mind of man’s a wonder, but so oft is torn asunder
By the worries writhing underneath the smile that from it shines
It ponders partly fearing, every problem that is nearing
For the answer not appearing every comfort undermines
The questions now confounding are the thoughts that are abounding
Every corner it is rounding, is a plague upon the mind
Its pallet being painted by a painter that is tainted
With the shadow it’s acquainted but to brightness it is blind
Soon is drawn upon the tables, all the lies and all the fables
He’ll run wild if he is able, to a fearful paradigm
Like a livid locksmith locking, every effort made for blocking
Bringing fear that sends you rocking, to a frozen place in time
But when the mind is humbled, you have faltered and you’ve fumbled
And your hope has all but crumbled, to the earth in its resign
You’re nearer to the breaching, and you’re closer to the reaching
Of the teacher who is teaching you to walk a narrow line
Now as He’s drawing nearer, set your gaze upon his mirror
As your visions growing clearer, take a look at what’s inside
A heart that has discarded, what the lord has in it started
That by fear has been bombarded and in languor does reside
But if now you will come trusting, and away your burdens thrusting
You will find yourself adjusting, to a finer frame of mind
When your weakness is His power, this could be the very hour
Run into His name, His tower, and leave every fear behind.

  1. It amazes me when I think about the many amazing talents our good Lord has blessed you with! Your abilities are endless. I truly am convinced…’You could move mountains if you so desired’!
I could not be more proud of you!!!
